How to Clean Green Throw Pillows

Green throw pillows make a beautiful decorative accent — but watch out if they get dirty or stained, the suede is hard to clean. Unfortunately, you cannot just put the mock throwing pillows in the washing machine; you need to clean them by hand, which takes time. Do not let this stop you from wearing them anyway — mock throwing pillows are nice because the mock is a hot and soft material. If you know how to take care of them properly, you will be able to keep them looking and feeling brand new.

Rub the dirty areas in the mock throw pillows with a clean bath towel. Do not rub too much. Just enough to loosen some dirt. Remove any dry marks with an eraser. Make sure the Eraser is clean; you do not want to rub any black marks on the mock. Brush over the mock throw pillows with a mock brush. . The soft and metal brush of a mock brush will revive short nap on the rugged material while helping clean surface spots. Apply 1 to 2 drops of vinegar to any remaining stains and rinse with a dry cloth. Allow air dry.

Throwing pillows add a touch of contrast to a sofa, bed or chair. They are perfect for use as a head restraint when you lay down on the sofa or as an armrest for extra heat while watching TV. Regardless of use, after some time they have to be washed to bring back the fresh smell. Unpack the lid to throw the pillow and remove it from the inner filling. If you do not have a zipper, remove a few inches of stitches so that you can remove the outer cover. If you choose to leave the lid, it will be much harder to dry and the pillow may end up losing its shape. Zip the outer cover closed and washes in a washing machine during a delicate bike with the same color clothes, preferably in cold water. Regular detergents should be good as well as any rinse that you usually use.

Tips and warnings

Suede throwing pillows are often expensive. Protect them with a waterproof suction cover before staining becomes a problem. (See Resources) Several varieties of mock brushes are available — and many are cheap so you can hold several different sizes at hand for different projects. Most fake stains can be taken care of without using water. But if you have to use water, only cold water is used, if the mock throwing pillows are stained, hot water will cause the dye to run
