Color or wallpaper on the walls of the bathroom. Choose a color or pattern that sets the style and tone for the bathroom or something that complements your shower curtain. Select an l shaped shower curtain rod that complements your bathroom. The curved rods come in a variety of designs and styles, in two or one, which prevents the shower rags from being hung on the connecting lip of the rod. Bet on a surface and style that matches your sanitary ware, such as towel bar and faucets. Install shaped shower curtain hooks higher than you would normally if you want to hide the shower head or make bathroom walls seem longer.

Select the desired height of the shower curtain. Standard curtain height is 5 inches above the top of the shower wall. Depending on the design of the shower, the height can be adjusted to meet your personal needs. The rod placement should also be close enough to the edge of the shower to allow the curtain to hang over the bathtub. Use a pen to highlight the desired height on the wall. Measure the distance between the rear of the shower and the height mark. Keep the curtain rod attached to this mark, and use a pen to draw the location of the boreholes. Mark the other console in the same way on the opposite wall. Check that the brackets are the level.

Place a bracket against the place previously painted on the wall. Rough up the first console with boreholes on the wall. Drill the screws included in the installation kit through screw holes and into the wall. Use a drill to secure the other console in the same way as the first console. Measure the distance between the top of the shower wall and the brackets to ensure they are level. Insert one end of the shower curtain rod into the first console. Carefully insert the other end of the shower rod into the other console. It may take a small amount of pressure to insert the bar into the other console.

Tips and warnings
