  1. Tannenbaum Open House to Benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada

    We are so honored to have been chosen to photograph this benefit for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada at the Tannenbaum Open House. All together, almost 400 pounds of food was raised for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. We love the Tannenbaum, and photographing the fashion show was so much fun! All the ladies and gents looked simply incredible. Amazing vendors were there representing their crafts and services, and we are very proud to have stood among  them, offering specials to all the attendees!

    A lucky lady even won a FREE 2-hour photo session with us plus a DVD slideshow worth $515! We can’t wait for your photo session, Justine!   2. Our First Bridal Show: The Marriage Carriage – A Bridal Bus Tour

    On my birthday, we spent the day at the Tannenbaum for the dessert stop on the Marriage Carriage! What is the Marriage Carriage, you ask? Well, it’s a bus tour that stops along several wedding hot spots around Reno…like The Grove, 41 Taylor Event Lounge, Winter’s Creek Lodge and the Tannenbaum etc…with vendor displays, drinks, food and goodies galore. We were lucky to be on the dessert stop – we got some tasty swag, I’ll tell you what. These are some photos I took before the attendees arrived. We had a great time meeting new people and hearing AWESOME proposal stories. In fact – I know one of the proposals was caught on film and I totally want to see it!! We also met some fabulous dessert & treat vendors who we’d be happy to recommend! Trust us, we tried everything and it was all amazing. We feel so proud to have been one of the photographers featured on the tour.

  3. A Taste of France in Reno – Date Night in Paris with Zilla Events

    Nicole and Jenica from Zilla Events were so awesome to ask me to photograph their “Date Night in Paris” at their Arlington Tower office in Reno on April 16th. Zilla Events is a wedding planning company here in Reno that caters to the busy DIY bride – I’m sure there are those of you out there that would LOVE to hand-make every item for your wedding  and take care of everything yourself (because you’re totally capable and love doing that stuff), but you just know it’s too time consuming to handle alone.

    I was gearing up for an evening of French wine tasting when I heard that Krumblz Deli & Bakery was catering the event – and I knew there was going to be some amazing food photography in my future. And the food was absolutely delicious. I really loved the vanilla cupcakes and the cream pastry puff things with caramelized onions. I’m sure that has  a better name than that!

    I was really excited to see all the fun that Zilla had planned for the evening – first, wine tasting, then photobooth fun with French props, then wedding themed Pictionary (boys vs girls – and boy, are guys clueless when it comes to wedding stuff!) And finally, the ladies dressed up their guys in toilet paper and paper plates. Oh, and ribbon. I got to help choose the couple with the best dress, and I have to say – I have pretty good taste in TP ensembles.

    Thank you again, Nicole & Jenica, for a lovely evening and a taste of Paris in Reno. Nicole, you really know your wine!! I loved the explanations of each wine that you gave to all the guests. It was very educational and the wine was very tasty. I think I even grew an immediate appreciation for wine :)
