We spent a bright, sunny, and stunningly gorgeous day in Lake Tahoe with Tracy and Von at Sand Harbor, where they grew up together and also where Von was a lifeguard! It was the true definition of a perfect day. We all walked around Sand Harbor through the nature trails and we had a lovely time taking pictures of a great couple. I just LOVE Tracy and Von’s love story. You see..Tracy and Von attended high school together in Incline Village…same class and everything, but they didn’t find their connection until 25 years later – at the gym! What are the odds?? I think it’s so romantic and kind of magical. Von proposed to Tracy at La Caille Restaurant, over Christmas in Salt Lake City…and now they will be getting married at Arrowcreek Country Club in Reno on June 22nd. Matt and I are so excited for their wedding…we absolutely can’t wait!

Indiana and Chad decided to have us photograph their engagement in beautiful Auburn, CA – and we couldn’t be more blown away with what a perfect location Auburn makes for engagement photos! Indiana is from Auburn, so it made it extra special as well. We walked around Old Town and had a great time with these two. I love that Indiana and Chad are just really laid back and comfortable with each other. You can tell from the photos that they are just so in love, and they were so much fun to photograph! We are so happy they chose us as their Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer, and we absolutely can’t wait for their wedding in Tahoe City this fall!

Champagne, a barn, snow-capped mountains on a beautiful day, a gorgeous couple and a spunky golden retriever – what could make for better engagement photos? Beth and Craig, along with their super sassy pup, Roxy, traveled out to Verdi, NV to have us photograph their lovely engagement session in one of our favorite rustic areas in Northern Nevada, and we are so happy to share their beautiful photos with you. I love how Beth and Craig laugh together, and look so naturally in sync with one another.

In the heart of January, my best friend Chloe and her fiance Chris traveled up to Reno to stay with us for the weekend to create their Lake Tahoe engagement photos. We headed up to the lake and it was surprisingly warm, but as the sun went down, it got cold super fast. These guys are troopers for trudging through snow and posing for us in the cold! I’m so excited to share these with you because first, this is my BEST FRIEND, and secondly, I love photos in the snow. Snow creates a fun and romantic feel all at the same time….I just love it. And I love these guys, so so so much…all you have to do is look at the last photo where Chloe proposed to Chris, and you will see how fun they are!

This is what I’ve always wanted my photography to be. Just real portraits of real love. Lindsey and Troy are both artists and make an incredible pair. Matt and I had the honor of photographing them a few weeks ago at my most favorite place, the old apple orchard. Lindsey is a fellow photographer and Troy is a graphic designer, so I felt especially connected to these two and also very proud to take photos for this beautiful engaged couple! Lindsey and Troy have two adorable golden doodles, Inaki and Samus, who are very entertaining pups and had us cracking up the whole time! These are just a few of our favorites from this session…it was so hard to narrow it down, you have no idea!
